Instructions for the leader

Activity: Collaborative Storytelling Circle with Plot Swerves Arrange participants in a comfortable seated circle. Pre-Activity Guidance: Frame the activity as an improvisational narrative exercise that fosters listening, creativity, and adaptability. Structure & Rules: Story Launch: Person 1 opens a fictional story by speaking exactly three concise sentences. The Swerve: Moving clockwise, Person 2 adds three sentences to the story, opening strictly with the word "Suddenly!" to introduce an unexpected plot twist. Chain Continuation: Continue around the circle, with each participant adding three sentences introduced by "Suddenly!". Timing: Run for 10–15 minutes until the story reaches an absurd or satisfying natural conclusion.
