Satan and God

Instructions for the leader

Gather participants into groups of 3–5. One person, the "advice requester," shares a personal challenge for 1–2 minutes. The rest of the group first responds as "God," offering wise, positive, and uplifting advice. Each person speaks for 30–60 seconds. After everyone has responded as "God," they go around again, this time responding as "Satan," offering tempting, mischievous, or humorous advice. Rotate the role of the advice requester so everyone gets a turn. Set a total time limit of 20–30 minutes for the activity. End with a debrief, discussing the most insightful or funny advice given.
