Press Conference
Instructions for the leader
Activity: Deductive Roleplay Interview Game Choose one volunteer to step out of the room. The remaining group agrees on a humorous secret identity for them (e.g., "Sherlock Holmes" or "BeyoncΓ©"). Pre-Activity Guidance: Frame the activity as a high-energy, lighthearted improvisational guessing game. Remind reporters to give clever hints rather than giving the identity away instantly. Structure & Rules: The Press Corps: The volunteer returns to the room as a mystery celebrity facing a clamorous press conference. Reporter Questioning: Group members act as eager press reporters shouting out questions that contain subtle clues regarding the secret identity. Deduction Goal: The volunteer answers questions while attempting to deduce who they are assigned to be. Timing: Allocate 5β7 minutes per press conference round, then select a new volunteer for Round 2.
